Different markets are the best things when you want to get to know local life. The authentic atmosphere is brought by the colorful stalls and the happy sellers in them, as well as, of course, the customers diligently replenishing their food stocks.

Marketplaces in Mae Phim area differ from those organized in larger tourist centers, there are hardly no pirate goods or people who force you to buy.  

Kram

Kram Evening Market start at 2 p.m. and these and these are held on Sundays and Tuesdays.

The selections include e.g. prepared food, fish and other seafood, meat, vegetables and fruit. Market place is on the way to Klaeng from the center of Kram, right on top of the hill, map link.

Klaeng

The night market held in Klaeng on Tuesdays is an experience in itself. You can find goods from live food, camping equipment, puppies, shoes, clothes, swimwear, mobile phone accessories, evening dresses etc.

Market bustle start about 4 p.m. and continues quite late into the evening.

The place is located immediately on the left side of the road turning to Bangkok. Car parking (20 Bht) can be found when you drive in the left lane until the end of the market area. This map link is to the car parking. If you are using a scooter, you can find a parking spot earlier on the side of the road.

It is also possible to order a cheap taxi transfer here from your residence. The journey is not long either, about 15 minutes by car or scooter.
